The single is a dreamy-psych-pop song but with a strong funk-soul heart. Following the influence of great artists such as The Beatles, The Fifth Dimension and The Wrecking Crew, it aims to spread a message of hope for a brighter future through a sort of guided meditation, towards better times where we will be able to gather freely with new awareness of what really matters henceforth: being together, celebrating life in the sun! To accomplish this cosmic feeling of happiness, Aquarama asked for a little help from their friends to join them in the big final choir, where more than 20 voices from Italy, UK, Brazil and America sing along in the chorus together. The song was entirely recorded and mixed at home, in between Florence and Milan.
lyrics
Come with us to stand in the sand, for a minute.
Let’s forget one year by the time we hold each other’s hands as one forever.
Will you try to get your mind back to what it feels like be diving in the water, and lose yourself?
There must be a better place to celebrate together.
There will be a better time to celebrate, again, together.
Dreams are flowing out from your pillow: a wide open sea, a big smile on your face.
Come with us to stare at the sun, for a minute.
Let’s forget one year by the time we watch it as it shines high, in a blue sky.
Will you try to get your mind back to how to get together in a better place where you can lose yourself?
There must be a better place to celebrate together.
There will be a better time to celebrate, again, together.
